    1957 Vintage photo of an American JR Jaguar made by American JR Aircraft company of Portland Oregon. They came in electric powered and Gas powered versions with the motor in the trunk. JRJaguar2.jpg

    Gee a kiddie Jag with kid brothers how touching . In 1957 all I had to play with was mud balls and popsicle sticks - That is if i could find any used old sticks off the ground, otherwise it was just the mud.

    Taylor, Texas in the 1950s. Most of the buildings are still there, but the businesses have changed many times over the last 60 or so years.

    Yours truly and "Woofy," at home in New Jersey in the mid-fifties. My Brother-inlaw (RIP Tor) took this photo; that's his VW bug. My Pop's Nash wagon is behind me.

    In just a few years, that little one-car garage would domain for me and hot-rod buddies. Lots of wrenching went on in the early sixties preparing for Sundays at Island Dragway. Great memories.
