    I know what is written on this photo and the two others above that feature these cars, but am I the only one who thinks these Packards look like '37's?

    I know it says Ford but the design says Chrysler Turbine car!?!

    The '60's Chrysler Turbine car was designed by Elwood Engel who had been previously with Ford and is generally credited with the '61 T-Bird/Lincoln slabside. Car designers tend to take their personal design characteristics with them regardless of what company they are working for. So in reality, the Chrysler Turbine car says Ford not the other way around. But really, both designs say Elwood Engel.
     
  10. I had my cousins 60 V8 Lark to over 100 in second gear..... only thing was, with the flat front end, it wouldn't go any faster when I put it into third. :eek:

    What about this car makes you think it is a prototype? It looks like a pretty typical '57 Rambler 4-door hardtop. They made lots of them.
