  9. For now. ;)

  10. The pre-visable pump in the background, probably a Boyles-Dayton 1912, would make a great street light.

John and Paul admired (and covered) the records
of Gene Vincent. Here, Gene pals around with the
two at Liverpool's Cavern, about 1961, early '62,
    thanks to site TheHamburgBeatles.

L-R: George, Pete, John and Stu during their Hamburg days. Gotta be
early '62 at the lastest, as Stu Sutcliffe died in '62.

From Shorpy.com, where the photo came from: "New York circa 1924. The Brox sisters again, on the road to success with a detour through the living room. Bain News Service glass negative."

Search "Brox sisters" on Shorpy, and you'll find several other photos and information on the girls, who were Vaudeville singers.

Boy! Talk about a blast from my past!
Taken from the southeast corner of SE15th & Key Blvd. in Midwest City, OK, looking to the northwest.
I lived one short block south and about 50 yards from where this photo was taken.
Noisy neighborhood. Not from the traffic, but because it was right along the flight path to Tinker AFB. Make that very noisy.

The Stockton's is closed now, but I remember it being open into the mid-90s, at least. The TG&Y has been gone for much longer. :(

To the right of the photo was a fairly large strip mall. It even had a Sear's and a Sears Auto Center. It was a very busy place. I don't know what's there now.

    Thanks for sharing this one!

Looking west. Up until about 4 years ago, I lived about two blocks west and one north of that water tower on Maple.
Starwalker, where the heck is Bunch? Never heard of it. I'm in Stillwater these days. Of course, it's a college town and the best time to be here is during the summer when the students aren't! :)
