To me, it seems the "cabinetry" (I won't call it coach or bodywork) can be awfully deceptive on the early
electrics. But I love them and think they were as quaint as early motoring produced! Let me throw out
WAVERLY as a possibility, though Baker was my first WAG. Below is Jay in a modern pic of a 1909 Baker,
which used heavy lead-acid batteries. I only show this for comparison's sake; if anyone objects to the
recent photo, I'll happily remove the post. :) Thanks!

  13. Nice Picture!!! I love this car. Funny how the passengers sit backwards so the ladies can have a nice visit while driving.

I'm pretty sure the one I posted is a Detroit Electric, but it could have been mis-labled

This building in Plymouth, Vt. was the birthplace of president Calvin Coolidge, is the same building in my avatar.
It is now part of a historic site dedicated to Coolidge

Then, the people on Shorpy were simply wrong. Who are/were the Carter brothers? Any relation to Byron Carter of Carter Car?

Of Carter Twin fame I think, several attempts at building their own cars but seemed to survive on coachbuilding for others.
