If you wanna find a congressman or senator, just grab your wallet. There's sure to be at least one of 'em with his/her hand on it at any moment.

It's that stuff they put on the rear tires at a car show to make it look like it's smoking the tires!! You've seen it before!!!:D

because I didn't want the frame exposed under the body, in the back, it looks weird.

You are crazy. I've worked in the snow a bunch of times before, but more often than not its out of necessity more than desire. But then again there are those times when thats all you want to do...

Lookin good! Keep it up, maybe this will start a new trend...death to all cartoon cars! haha

I think the direction you are going with the build on the car is good..... and I understand what you say about the frame being exposed in the back. I like the rear crossmember it is pretty creative....

why dont you burn the body to stay warm while you work on the frame. =]

  24. Major overhaul. Lookin good. I remember in the late sixties piling snow up all around the front and sides of my 36 5-window to cut down on the wind while I pulled the rear end. Changing a rear end outside in 25 below weather, couldn't do it now. Pat.

ok, so I've been so busy working on this thing, that i havn't had time to post any pics. here we go. It finally stopped snowing haha, so I can actually get some shit done. I'm going for a more race car look with it because I beat the shit out of my cars. My dads race car number was 17 back in the day so thats where the number comes from. Stock looking 283, Black walls, and yeah it has an automatic, but thats only for this summer. Next winter its gonna get 4" drop, some diamond cut 8.50 in the rear and possibly wide fives , t5, and some other goodies, but thats all on the back burner until I get it on the road.. I am stoked about it!!!!!

heres some chassis and engine pics
