Will probably go with a single four or three deuce setup, I Photoshopped a blower on it and I agree it just don't look right.

  2. Hooray for keeping the hood. Keep the hood emblem too it helps add the class to a great design. Just my worthless input

Got the engine in and made a new radiator mount and shifter linkage. Going to use a '61 Impala driveshaft (2 piece).

Car looks really nice . What rims are you using with the 12 bolt to clear the drums ??? I am doing something similar to my 53 but used a BBC instead of a SBC . I also used a 12 bolt rear but am keeping the leafs for now. A blower will work and still be able to close the hood.

Very nice work. What thickness is the trunk floor, and what are the fasteners?

I like your caddy and the keep it simple method to the work your doing on it.By the way will the driveshaft interfere with the floor when the suspension is fully relaxed?

No because I'm going to use a two piece DS with a midshaft bearing.

I'm pretty much finished other than the exhaust system.

Is the flexicool radiator a custom made or an off the shelf item?

Looks good. I was hoping beyond hope you didn't run it hoodless with a blown sbc. I'm glad you came to your senses about that.

Thanks for keeping the hood. Those cars have great lines. blowers motors do not. :)

  21. Aw hell. Another good looking Kustom Caddy ready to roam the streets. Looks fantastic. We just got a foot of snow so I don't guess I will get much work done on mine in the driveway this weekend

I'm building a 37/39 ish Ford Prostreet Roadster now, it's not very HAMB friendly so I won't be posting a build thread on it.
