Yes, it was me that painted it PURPLE! Hahahaaa. Hey, it's what the customer ordered! Car got sold on Ebay and the owner wanted to give it more of a sixties vibe. I became great friends with the owner and we gave him all he asked for. The flattie was switched out for a new crate 302, worked. I got the Flattie and just put it in my new 30 sedan on 32 rails job I just finished. We redid all the floors, subfloors, changed the tunnel and firewall, built interior, etc. After the car left here, it then got a pair of 4 barrels, I believe that it is now back to a single 4. Car flies, those tires really grab and that car launches! Mike loves it, glad he is happy,he is a real good friend now. Car also was in this years Radir Wheels catalog. I'm sure the car is not everyone's cup of tea now. Probable lost some fans, and gained some others. This car now looks like a true Hot Wheels car too me. It is also fun to switch up styles for me sometimes. I like more vintage motors, but creating different looks is a nice break from the monotony. Taught my friend Jessica how to prime too...
