Im not sure how i missed this thread! Glad the trip is going well for you and congrats again on getting in the top 100! Im also the guy who bought your old tires :) I tried to call a couple times but was unable to reach you, figured you was pretty busy...just wanted to say THANKS again for selling me your old tires and hope the trip keeps going well!

  8. Wow!! The mother of all road trips for sure, and I'm sure you'll never forget this one. Have a great time and a safe trip. If you need anything on your way west across Arizona, I'm just 45 miles south of Ash Fork (west of Flagstaff) on I-40. Enjoy the journey!

Glad you made it to Pat & Scott's cook out. You definitely got the long distance award!!! If you ever get back to Louisville just give us a shout. Be safe on the rest of your trip and enjoy.

Cool, looks like you are having a fun trip!

When you get to Pleasanton you should see if you can find this pickup - it has been shipped over from NZ and will be there also.

Between Mike's pickup and your coupe they would have traveled 12,000 miles to get there so it would be a pretty neat to to see a picture of them both together.

I will Tim, we went down on the bumpy I-65 and stayed next to the Jim Beam place. I didn't drink it, just smelled it :)

Later on we arrived to Nashville yesterday and had a great evening celebrating Mikael's birthday .

Really appreciate it mate, Ive learned me thru the trip that sometimes some help is so needed .
Yesterday I've crawled around the floor adjusting the rear height at Greening Auto Company. They helped with a Jack and tools :)

Congrats on your awards they were well deserved. I loved all of your cars and wish I could have traveled west with you guys it's sounds like it going to be a lot of fun. Anyway safe travels it was good meeting you guys.

We had a good time, I was really impressed with the facility and the way the show was ran. It's on my do again list. Next time I'd go down a day or two earlier so I can see more of the Louisville sights too.

  21. Martin: Hope you guys have found some smoother roads! Say hi to your group from all of us here in Louisville. Tim

Wish we got more time to chat but it was great anyway. Love the stance you got on the '40 . Hope I manage to get to the same point someday with my '39 ;)

We're been heading west now for what feels like a looong time and we have seen a lot :)
We have visit a bunch of great people and seen a lot more other things during the way.
Now were in New Mexico , only problem so far is that I get Vapor Lock in the fuel pump when it's really hot outside.
    Cheers

  29. Great pics Martin. Try taking some ice from your home made A/C and pour on your fuel pump/fuel line. Something we did a long time ago. You may have an electric pump? Anyway, you will get it figured out. Glad you are all enjoying the trip, scenery is beautiful. Thanks for sharing with us. Tim
