IT IS A "SICKNESS" THERE WERE QUITE A FEW SETS THERE BUT NOTHING IN MY PRICE RANGE.

 

I will more than likely be going to Calhoun Georgia Saturday to Paradise Drag strip for the swap meet and drag races.
Stop by my booth and say hey. I will be in the same truck selling magazines.

I also forgot to post a few pics from my buddies shop in Cumming Ga. we stopped there Friday evening when we were headed down for the Gear Jam Drags. He had a nice truck he built for a customer a while back. I loved this little truck.


This car is his beater car. I love it and have tried to buy it but he won't sell it.

 

I've got the truck loaded and we are headed to Paradise Dragstrip in the morning for the swap meet and the drags.

Well we went to Paradise Dragstrip yesterday we had a good time. We saw some old friends and made some new ones. I will post some pics tomorrow.

HERE IS ANOTHER DRAGSTER


This Vette belongs to another HAMBer I am having a momentary "Brain Fart" because I can't remember his HAMB name.
I talked to him and his wife for a little bit and he was nice enough to let my son sit in his car. He gave my son the royal treatment and I really appreciate that.
I will see him this Saturday come by and slap me around and remind me your user name.


We are going to Commerce Ga. Saturday for the Atlanta 10,000 come by and see us and hang out we will be in the white truck.

 

I just picked up a bunch of Early 60s Car Craft Magazines and some 60s Hot Rod magazines I will have at Commerce Saturday. I hope the weather is good.

 

Getting ready to head out in the morning to the Atlanta 10,000 race. I will have a truckload of old magazines and I will finally be set up to take a credit card or as always CASH is King.

Well it is time to go play in the garage again. I have been slacking lately.

I need to make a list of things to do.
1st is I need to have a good old fashioned cleaning and organizing.
2nd I need to help my son finish the two wheels he is redoing so we can take them to the last local cruise in we have this year. He wants to sell them so he can buy something else.
3rd I need to make a list of things to do to the wagon this winter
4th I need to get to work on the corvette so we can take it on our guy trip next year to Bowling Green.
5th I need to work on my shovelhead and get it ready for the toy runs coming up in December.
Lastly I need to keep acquiring parts and pieces for a future gasser project.

It don't look like much when it is written down

I would love to, but it would be my luck that I would break something and stuff it into the wall. That is the last thing my dad gave me before Cancer took him.
I could never replace it. we are just going to get it running and have something cool to cruise.

I will find a body to throw all my parts at eventually.

 

Well I went and got calipers from a route.buddy of mine. He sent them to Vette brakes and had them stainless steel sleeved ran them for a short time with Silicone brake fluid. He ended up going the Pro Touring
