Nicely said Thommo - once again a fantastic weekend and great work by all the RCCRC crew. Thanks to ALL our Entrants for their support of what we do, without YOU their is no event.

As always, looks like it was a great event guys. Well done to the guys that organize it each year. Looks like you got a turn out of some of the nicest traditional cars is Australia and it's good to see them in their natural environment, on the road!

This has become exactly what you RCCRC guys wanted it to be. The best event of the year in Melbourne. Perfect formula. I didn't take many pics this year but here are a couple of random ones

 

Not surprise at all that it looks like it was a killer weekend! Man, what a great selection of cars... and great fellas, to boot!

 

I haven't seen a better group of real life hot rods than this in a long, long time. Looks like a great day!

 

Cars look great-looks like a lot of fun.Wondering if most of the cars are native cars or are lot of them imported Us cars changed to righthanded steering.Just wondering.

Some are imports, some are converted to RHD, some are built here as LHD and some as RHD. Some could be original RHD but they would be rare. We are allowed to drive either so it just comes down to personal choice.

 

Do doubt in my mind you guys know how to build nice cars and drive the wheels off! HRP

You guys are living well down there.

 

As well as a big thank you to the RCCRC guys for a great run through some fantastic scenery, I have to make an extra special thanks to Gary (509garyd) and Jase (63compact) for without these two I would not have made the run Saturday. Friday night my fan tried to go through my 6 month old radiator. Luckily it failed and only took off 6 blades rendering it useless. Gary (through his work) got me a great price on a new fan which I picked up at 8am and Jase was there to help weld back on the mounting bracket that had broken off at one end. Very grateful for there help as it enabled me to make the run!

 

What a great bunch of cars, nice turn out !
