Are those related to dingle berries ?

  2. Yeah, that's good. But what about...

"I love this particular stinking pile of Edsel, it got me home."

If only Ford had taken this approach in 1958...

Jim you didn't write enough information down. The ad clearly states "no history report" o_O ;)

  5. I see you have the Newport wiper motor... and I know you didn't pay $224 for it....

oh, you noticed that? I bought an unused motor on ebay for one of my chevy trucks, years ago, and never used it myself. It was pretty reasonable, I think well under $100. I figured out how to adapt it to the Edsel pretty easily, it works good.

Is this the real Forbes Edsel as used in the 2016 LeMons rally? Lot of concern about fakes these days. ;)

  8. I can see from here that those dingleballs in the listing aren't the same ones as in the pics from squirrel's original post, so it must be a fake!

We left the tapes at my brother's house. But you can get them pretty easily, for free, if you ask your friends.

Things would have turned out different for the Edsel, if I had been in charge of marketing!

I plan to take her down through SE WA, hit the Grand Coolee dam as well. It will probably be 2018 if I am being realistic, it will take me a another solid year to finish the car for sure. I am so glad she gets to see the stuff she sees, this is her fourth trip to SE Asia, and she went to Deuce Days in Victoria with me. She has seen a lot of cool places for a seven yr old. Bonneville will be a gas!

Marketing Jim ? Don't let those altered ad's get to you like that. Engineering is where the truth lies.

Pretty cool, Frampton coming alive...My brother brought over New Music countless times. (he's 8 yrs younger, former door gunner w/101st Airborne, 1965-1968)
I was working the Welding Watch on a '29 Hiboy. Younger bro came home a GTO pilot. We tried to get along...

  21. Okay Jim, apparently there is this station wagon for sale on epay that is the soul mate to your sedan.

It would be cool just the way it is OR it would make something like an Edsel Ranchero which would take it to the next level. What more can I say?

Jim is a glass half-full kinda guy.

In 2009 at Bonneville, you hung out with us a bit (Keith and Tonya were our pushtruckers) and our car (avatar) was in it's awkward infancy. I always thought that we shoud have used the '55 as the push vehicle.

I love your attitude; keep posting your adventures.
