Hi yall Ive owned this ride since 1995, plan was to ride it to school on my 18th birhtday.Well thats 10years ago... Anyway now its gettin there unfortunatly its kinda cold up here in sweden nowadays so the progress is slow but i`ll keep you uppdated as much i can. Heres some pics foggy
Forgot to tell what kinda car it is. A 1954 citroen b11 body on a 1962 volvo 210 frame.4 banger. The grille is plymouth -38 i think, swapmeet find.
That's one mean and nasty lookin' ride! A thought...that trunk "hump" looks to be a separate piece. If you took it off, the back end would have a '32 Victoria-like slope to it. No space for stuff, though. That Plym grille looks like it grew there, nice touch.
Thats a nice visor..........over your windshield..........in your avatar........ The Citroen looks cool too, neat project!
It's pretty cool that you used the remote shifter setup off a later 140, it puts the shift in the perfect place. This car could look fantastic with the right headlights and bumper. Best of luck, and I hope you post some updates as you make progress.
Mounted the radiator shields yesterday. Feels great to finaly get started whit this project again. Next step is to fit the grille in properly.
Painted the dashboard, copper pearl is the thing. Put som glowble flake in the gaugepanel, dont no if it shows on the pics. Do notice that the gaugepanel isnt adjusted proparly yet. Mounted a new windsheild and painted the frame, copper pearl ofcourse. Next up is a little welding on the firewall and then some paint. An all steel -33 ford walldecoration,
Noticed ive deleted all pics! Here are some. The progress is still right now. its -15 C in sweden and hell ov a lot whit snow, and my garage is frezzing cold.
HAHA . has a 2 inch chop already. Have had the roof in about 15 pieces Could have taken more but then the windsheild would be to small in my opinion.
looks good. cant say any of my gf's every wanted to help me on my wheels in there swim suit.. lucky man :d she is gonna look great.. as for not making it for your high school.. shit happens.. and you are gonna get her up and running and you and the misses will drive the piss out of her.. rock on. by the way i could not tell you chopped her safe to say you did a great job o n the chop.. subtle for sure.. some times less is more.. pat your self on the back, you did a great job on the chop. chris.
Wow, this is cool, and i've never really liked Citroens. I have an old bonnet/hood in my shed, and its the same as yours. So i guess its Citroen. Your car looks great in paint, can't wait to see it finished.
