Event Coverage Syracuse Nationals 2014 thread?

I don't get on here as much as I'd like. But that doesn't mean I'm not knee deep in the hobby But today I'm here because I'm excited about my favorite event of the ENTIRE YEAR, the Syracuse Nationals! I tried searching for threads discussing same, but didn't have any luck, just mentions in unrelated threads. Did I miss them? Wondering who's bringing what cars, what plans everyone's making, etc. Personally, me and my '62 Cadillac Sedan DeVille will be there with bells on! Looking for thread links, and/or info

 

The Syracuse Nationals is one of the Best Events in the country to attend.

I also love watching the Modifies race on the Monster Mile.

I've been to every one of them - no sense stopping now.

The Nats seem to be getting better with age......a lot more traditional builds

 

Will have our 57 Chevy B/A wagon there. Will also be camping in the infield with our Prowler 5th wheel trailer. Drop in if you want.

 

I bought a model T sedan last year at syracuse and have been thrashing on it hard trying to get back there with it this year.May not get it done in time but Ill be there with or without.Great show put on by great people.

 

Me and the wife making our first trip there,I'm on a roll this year going where I haven't been before.
Looking forward to it and the week we'll take to get back home to Illinois.

Bringing my dads 49 Olds club coupe as well my blown Model A

 

I will be there with mt 56 looking forward to it!!! staying at the host hotel. looking forward to seeing everyone there.

My Model A came out of the car corral there back in '07
I work real slow but hopefully I'll have it back there in the show next year when it's done.

So far, Thursday and Friday are looking Excellent; with low Humidity and cooler Temperatures (ie. 70's) ! ! !
Saturday and Sunday are going to get progressively Hotter and more Humid (especially Sunday).

Almost here! I'll be there in my '62 Caddy

 

Been to all of them. Probably will drive the 56 again this year.

 

Helping a buddy set up in the swap tomorrow. Will be there as much as they'll let me!

Weather looks really good overall. Rain going through right now, but supposed to clear out with very little for the rest of the week, and something we haven't had at the Nats- cooler weather! Mostly sunny with high 70s- low 80s, instead of the brutal scorchers we usually have.

Tonight is a HUGE cruise-in at the Nice-n-Easy on Rt. 31 and John Glenn Blvd. in Clay, maybe 15 minutes from the Fairgrounds (weather permitting). See mapleroadboyz.com for more info and updates. Can't wait!

 

I'll be there this year, but not sure if I'll be bringing my Falcon. It's running and ready, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to put in a couple of full days (Friday / Saturday) with it.

At the very least I'll be attending and wandering the swap meet looking for goodies.

 

will be there bringing my new car 1969 dodge superbee hoping to make in around 4 hours time been going like 4 years we love this event

 

I should be in the usual space in the swap.

Hey is there going to be HAMB meet again this year? I'm heading up to get my credentials in a little while then I will be back with the 56 Friday - Sunday can't wait!
