Heres the hood ornament I scored to match the dash, then I sold the dash. Still have the hoodie, only one I've seen like it

Sets of these have popped up on eBay a couple of times. I lust after 'em, but they always go for way more than I'm willing to bid. Vern from the choppers has a pair on his coupe.

I have seen the ebay ones. It looks like they still need a ton of work to get them together. They appear to be just rough castings and no marker light lens.

I wish I had a matching set. I would love another chrome one, I have been looking for a while now.

It's an MG P-type special from around 1936...that set is specific to track cars...Brooklands cars, Q-types, R-types, some J2s, etc. Way over on the left you can see an original gauge from a stock PB.

Pre-war Jaeger gauges are pretty cool. I believe we got these from a place called Vintage Restorations in Kent, GB...I could be wrong though.

This is from the post I did the other day about the Barn Finds exhibit...the panel on the Edsel Ford car...

I will see if I can lighten the hi-res and repost.

And from the boat post I did last summer:

Speedo and Tach were sold out of Bell Auto Parts in the 50's. Maring and Company in Los Angeles made these for the lake racers....Lucky
