Dude, here in Minnesota, some of those cars you call wasted are in near mint condition to the shit we have to work with...seriously...drag every one of those vehicles out and you won't be disappointed...who knows, maybe the one POS you left in there was worth the most...be smart about it, take your time and you guys could come out VERY far ahead on this deal...just because it's rusty doesn't mean it's not worth something to someone...lots of guys around here are looking for roofs to finish chops, or rear quarter panels for grafting onto other vehicles, etc...don't waste an inch of those vehicles...

When I live in Mill Creek (North Seattle, just south of Everett) there used to be a shit load of cars back in the woods behind an old diner with a sign that said "Eats". It was on the east side of I-5, just as you were going over the top of the hill that dropped into Mill Creek. I think the road was even called Mill Creek road. That was a few years back and I'm sure the whole friken forest is now chopped down to make room for condos and yuppie housing, but you never know . . . there was some really cool old shit there. Good luck.

And the guy gets the blackberry bushes cleared out for free. What a deal.

Exercise, parts and the possibility of some cash to boot, not a bad deal.

Any doors or other pieces laying around for that phone booth T truck cab?
I've got one that is going to be yard art until I find enough pieces to do something with it.

  10. Great find! Trim parts should be easy to pull!!!

That's too bad! I met your buddy Jason a little while back and he told how you guys were getting screwed by that guy. Not the land owner, but that other guy who jumped in on the deal.

Rustynewyorker, it's not really fair to judge when you don't have the whole backstory.

How many cars are out there? Does the owner even know anmore?

  22. Then post it or refer to the post about it, don't whine about people stirring the pot. Particularly if you can't tell the difference between New York City, and the entire rest of New York State. I can't read your mind.

Wow what a treasure find. I imagine when you start cleaning and clearing out some of the vines and trash you will find much more usable parts.
