I want to build my 15" x 4" steel rims out to 6".
There is not a lot of steel to work with on the original 4" width so widening seems pretty risky, also the original shells are tube type and easily bent.
Does anyone know of 15" x 6" tubeless rims that have 13 1/8" inside diameters (my centres are 13 1/8" OD)?
    Thanks

It is a 5 bolt, 5 3/4 inch pattern from an MG TD.

I will check my stash tomorrow - i just looked at a couple on my project and the 4.5 wide nash fronts were the right size - the ford truck rears were too small......you might want to try wheelsmith

Thanks for your responses, more research tells me this size rim was standard on 67 Ford Fairlanes.
I have been looking for a cross reference to other uses for that rim size without success and have so far not been able to find a source for used ones or someone who could supply the shells. No luck with Stockton yet.
I have not been able to find compact spare rims with the 13 1/8" inside diameter and the net does not seem to cross reference this way. My wife's Honda was very close at 13 1/4". I will keep looking.
    Any more suggestions?

Wheel Smith should be able to do what you need, as long as your wheels are in good shape..Where are you located?

    Thanks for all the suggestions.
I have not found a source for either used rims or new at this point.
I do know that Ford 15" 4 bolt rims from the 60s and early 70s are the correct shell diameter to fit my centres, so the hunt is on for 5.
I understand that VW rims from the later Beatles were 15" x 4" and were safety beads.
    Hope,that helps.

NAP1947, I think Jimmy is on the HAMB? At one point his name was "the wheel kid". He cut my original willys wheels down for me. Look him up. He has lots of old wheels. Hope this helps

I just checked one of my 15'' ford wheels and it looked very close to that 13 1/8'' measurement, these wheels are from an 70's or 80's full size Ford and are 6'' wide.

I can post a picture of what I have if you need it.

I have built my own, cut the center out of the rim you want...cut the rim off of the center you want grind edges clean, knock together mount on front of car, spin and true with jack stand or something sitting VERRY near rim edge, tack, check again......,weld her up!
