Looks like this year is going to be better than ever!!!

 

Curtis, I could find only one thing to complain about last year and that was what you just pictured: Vendor's Row, and the problem is easily seen in that pic.
somehow there needs to be a way to keep the crowd under a little more control there, as it's also the return road, if you,ve made a run and are returning straight back to staging lanes for another run. Even with fairly loud pipes such as the ones I have on BGII, it's difficult to get thru the crowd on vendor's row. Radical cams and resultant fast idle speed with a crowd totally oblivious to the fact that is also return road, often mean slipping the clutch to get thru that area. I got more than one dirty look from people who apparently just were thinking "Why is that asshole driving his hot rod down vendor's row in my way?" With open wheel cars and an uncontrolled crowd, it's an accident waiting to happen. Not if, but when.
Maybe if the vendors were moved back a couple of feet and then cones and tape to designate a walkway???

 

It was pretty sketch driving through there to the staging lanes - Kids, kids on scooters, people darting in and out - I did enjoy loo

We lined up at Commerce - Tyler was having a little bit of a mechanical issue and I think it'll be resolved by this spring. Looking forward to lining up with MR. TYLER

 

DOM, I couldn't help but laugh when I read you got dirty looks and folks may of thought you were an asshole!

On a serious note...Vendors row is on the top of our list to make a change to improve safety and get the cars to the track smoothly.

Don't have any planned as of now but let me study that a bit. We have a band at 7 and 8, then the Cackle Crawl at 9:15.

 

I snagged a room at the local hotel for Friday so I will be ready to run Friday night if it is open though a laid back cackle deal would really be as much fun as I have not done one yet ( except in my back yard)
Man! I can't wait!!! I have promised Cassandra she can design my paint and will be getting up with her this wk end but can't promise it will be on by then --but SURE hope so!!
I am still licking my wounds from near 3 years of building the thing--OK honest-- I have made the wife so many promises since I said it was finished ugh..... She loves me I will probably have paint by then

Yeah, I gotta get my butt in gear now that I finally have a little time here.

Need to get the blow by issue sorted out for sure. Also need to start it on 90% nitro before the cackle crawl. I would rather my "first time" not be in front of a bunch of people I don't know

Merlin anyone that meets the rules are welcome to run in our group so there would be no need to run outside the group just come to one of our races we would be glad to have them. If your friend has a car that is not a period correct gasser I have another car that is not period correct that I will be glad to do some out side racing for the right money. It's an old 1963 vette.

Once again looking towards a good time. Should have a caravan coming out of the myrtle beach/Conway / loris. Looking forward to the beach bums and the maiden voyage on his bad ass 52 Chevy!!!!
