Signal Stat 900 (again)

    Didn't find my answer in any of the other threads, and since every time I bump an old thread everybody answers the original question from years back:

    Got my Signal Stat 900 wired just like this:

    And it works, sort off. But if I put power to the gray/black wire, simulating activating the brake lights, the signals no longer work. And, strangely enough, they won't work again for about a minute. Flasher doesn't feel like it's getting hot, at least on the outside. That stop light switch drawing is kind of vague, the stop light wires no longer run to it, right? And the power wire does?

    Thanks guys. Hmm, the diagram in your instructions for the 900, what the heck is this line for?

  5. That line (and the same one to the front parking lights) are showing existing wiring that needs to be removed.

    Got it, thanks. They should put that in the written instructions, we're not all electrical engineers. :)

    You sure you have the flasher wired right? The ones I remember have the P in the middle and the X and L opposite each other.
