    Howza Folks-

So, I have dropped the pick up just a touch by removal of leaf springs and no, it does not handle like a bowl of Jell-o. So I like the rough look, but I want to do something else to it. I am thinking of a Bonneville, El Mirage, racetrack or Drag Strip style Push Truck. The engine will remain stock, I will give it dual exhaust (someday), and I like the Moon Discs.

So could ya folks post some pics or throw some ideas my way?

I know, I am going to use a larger chunk of wood for mine. The bumper was really trashed!

So, I know it old hat to do so, but I shot the pick up in satin black. Next up will be burnt orange scallops over the front 1/4 of the pick ups nose and a logo on the door.

    The Moon Discs will stay....

What's the most common way to mount your push bar? Straight to the bumper or another arrangement? I can see how to mount straight to the bumber but a couple of the pics posted show a frame holding it out from the bumper and I'm wondering how that's mounted to the truck frame?

I mounted the wood (heh, heh, heh,) to the bumper brackets.

Here's a push truck I've used a few times. It's owned by one of my customers Ed Timmons. A 1941 Chevrolet steak bed with a propane powered twin-turbo 509" big block chevrolet.
Ed's run the truck through the lights at El Mirage @ 161 mph so it's not a bad push truck!

Looking good Bob...Need some pictures of it with the rail.

All you need is a board on the front and the flattie fed in front.
