I would like a Chrysler 12V (or 2) and would like to put a 6V back on my model A which has a 6V positive gound alternater on it now. Will they fit in a flat rate shipping box?

Do you have one for a 40 Pontiac? Or at least a 40 GM? I'm missing one and would like to build one of mine to stock.

  6. I'll be needing a couple pretty soon. GM and Hemi 12 volt.

Thank you for doing this for everyone, it's really not anything I can use, but thank you for taking the time to sort them out and mail them. If more people would save these old parts, there would be a lot more for people to use. To the naysayer, he wasn't going to just throw them out, he was trying to find out if there was an interest. Since there is, he may make some money, but will probably never make enough to cover his time or effort in getting these out to fellow members. He's doing it anyway basically for the love of the hobby and to help his fellow members. :)

The easiest and cheapest way to ship them is by priority mail you can ship 2 for $ 18.75 or one for $ 13.45. The best way to pack them is to wrap them in plastic and then use insulation foam to lay a base of about 1 inch and let it cure, then place the parts on the base and foam around the parts till the foam goes past the top of the box, after it has cured use an electric carving knife to cut the foam even with the top, close the box and seal it. Call your local office and they will deliver the boxes to you for free, print a prepaid label and schedule a pick up. You can get the whole thing done and not have to leave the house, well except for the foam.
