any one know of more threads like this? where they go into the history of car clubs, i find this stuff interesting.
This is so cool! Something interesting to read and see old pics. Love hearing about this. We need more of this! Awesome thread! Thanks!
I can't think of a more in- appropriate name for a car club. You may consider it innocent and all in fun but I can assure you it is neither. To openly use Satan and the images associated with him is foolhardy at best.
You know I've tied to ignore your post but couldn't. Lets just try to keep our religious and political views out of the hamb. This is not the "appropriate" place. And how can you "assure" us of anything? Just hope your or my remarks haven't killed a great thread.
I'm going to agree with you, because it gives me the opportunity to bring this fantastic thread back to where it belongs, at the top. A club as cool as this one can call themselves whatever they like, as far as I'm concerned Paul
Hey Kripfink thanks for bringing this post to the top, I missed it somehow it. Very very cool stuff. That Olds looks sinister, and yea, no slammed chops! Hahahah!

WOW......these young guys really had it all together, must have been a fun group to be around! Really nice cars back then and now, glad to see they're still active.

I love those old Roadster Show photos.I don't think any are Satans Angels cars, but I do recognize a couple of cars.I have a large collection of those photos, maybe we could swap some copies.
Blue Man, dude, dont get me started...just wheel off and shut up if you dont like it. Thanx for then new pics, hard to get enuff of this.
Fantastic history /pix guys - imo THAT'S what this hobby is all about. THANK YOU THANK YOU for sharing these pics ! Rat
Great thread. Lots of familiar pictures but they're more significant when you get them all together to tell the story of a bunch of like minded guys who played a role in our sport. Side story - every once in a while I get a call from someone in Phoenix, or Florida or wherever asking if I can make them a Satan's Angels plaque because they used to be a member (and I have an original pattern from back in the day.) I tell them all I'll check with Frank and sure enough every one of them was an ex-mamber that was thrilled to be able to relive part of his past by getting a Satan's Angels plaque! Dennis
Ron I have no real feelings for those custom photos. Although I love the custom chraftsmanship, I have always been a hot rod guy. I come down there to visit my brother every few weeks. In fact my brother sold Frank a '49 Merc. maybe 20 or so years ago. Maybe we could get together for lunch or or something sometime. Maybe trade them for a vintage Kookie Kar picture or some other roadster pictures. Let me know. Gary
