  1. Come to think of it, Ryan had issues with the two-piece in his x-framed wagon.................

    Great shot looking past the General's Ford . . . '65 Riviera . . . thought '64 was the upper limit here, but I stand corrected. The Boss says it's always been '65 . . . it's the classifieds with the '64 cutoff.

    YEA! Let's go for a ride. Nothing like an old Buick on the open road. When you get back to Texas let me know if you really would rather have a Dart vert...we can talk. :)

  11. I predict the cars will work flawlessly.
    You will get pulled over once by law enforcement who will just want to see the cars.
    and will share a story about some uncle,or someone that used to have one "just like it".
    You will also recieve a lot of weird stares and glances from people who will think you are on drugs due to the crazy grins on your faces.
    Have fun!, That's a given

    I probably have to recuse myself since both cars have been at my place for the last month, so I won't offer an opinion on pending doom.

    But I will say that those Texans are a couple level-headed fellas that are equipped to take on anything.

    Of all the prediction offered by others though, my money is on Dreddybear...

  13. Since you're not riding in the same car there won't be any issues of "flatulence" and the only problem I can see is coordinating your "Pep Boy" stops for minor crap like belts and hoses and the occasional alternator/electrical issues.

    Two perfect Rivieras and two Texans on a speed run from Mass. though Baltimore to Texas. What could POSSIBLY go wrong?? The cars, nothing. The drivers, not so sure. Enjoy your adventure.

    My prediction;

    Heavy rain----dried out wiper blades----pull over.

    I'm 30 minutes north of Philadelphia, if you need anything send me a PM.

    gosh, i was terrible at remembering to take pics. and we were a little groggy from the...late hour...the night before. i think Ryan will have plenty of good pics when he gets stuff sorted after the trip. he had his Leica with him, so they stand to be pretty good i think.

    Mark: How hard was it to NOT jump in one of those Riv's and head south?

  25. I personally thought Mark should have bought this and gotten in line...by model year of course.

    Hey cats, you should have a great rip. Those Riv's are great rides, I am so pleased to see another one in your stable. I had a beauty of 66, white with black interior and all the perks, I miss it. Besto luck on the trip home. ~sololobo~
