This unique custom was designed and built by the legendary traditional custom car builder John Kouw of Crusin’ Customs in Holland Michigan in 1984. It was purchased by my father in 1989 which he cherished and enjoyed showing for many years. This painstakingly crafted 1955 Buick body has a full 3” body channel to sit over a 1976 Oldsmobile chassis with a 455 Olds engine and Turbo 400 transmission. The top is a 50’s styled padded/removable Carson top that has been chopped 4-1/2”. The nose is a custom fabricated fully hydraulic tilt assembly with dual headlights and 1957 Desoto bumper. The signature rear tail end has been extended 5” with a custom tail light design and fully hydraulic trunk as well. Interior was fabricated from a late model Cadillac which features electronic door openers with hidden exterior switches and power windows. The car has new tires with 1961 Buick Electra spinner hubcaps. Has new tires, brakes, complete tune-up, and heads rebuilt.
