Put my rear end back in got her back on the ground time to start thinkin about fuel tank, air tank. I'm considering building the fuel tank so I can mount the air tank right next to it under the car trying to save all trunk space I can.

    Nice work!

Here's a consideration for the fuel tank. I just ordered one this a.m. Black Friday Special! $103 free shipping comes with:

    - Fuel Tank with Drain
    - Fuel Sending Unit with Gasket
    - Locking Ring
    - Filler Pipe Hose
    - Filler Pipe Gasket
    - Fuel Tank Mounting Hardware
    - 16 Gal
    - Coated to prevent rust

Got some time in on the car things are shaping up. It's hard to see but i raised trunk floor an inch wanted to get fuel tank up a little. I don't want fuel tank exposed to inside of trunk - car gonna keep fuel door. Tank is going to drop in from trunk then have a panel screw down. Made some filler panels at the tail pan to keep trunk floor smooth.

You're coming along nicely. Fine job. What is your concern about "now for the front area where the grill bolts haven't decided how I am do that." ? What are you thinking about ?

    All the best,

OK, I see what you are saying. Find a fender that has a good front section. Cut and splice.

    Best of luck

Lovely job you are doing there, ive just got a '51 4 door sedan that im going to be bagging the rear on later in the year, have you 4 linked the rear axle?? ive looked through your pictures but cant quite see, I was looking at using the Gambino kit as they seem to do everything in a handy kit for not alot of money, only trouble is they dont seem to ship to the uk which is where I am so i'll probably end up fabricating something myself.
Big thumbs up on the project tho mate, ive subscribed to this thread and will be keeping a close eye on!! :)
