Damn, i dig the gold on the motorand the fuel set up. Everything is coming together nicely, I'm with Ryan on preferring and forward stance but still the car just has the "it" kewl factor. Congrats man

This is outstanding! Tell me more about the shifter, more pics if you don't mind. I mean the shift handle! Thanks for sharing...grouchy

  15. I really like what you've done so far. I'm bulding a '29 with a 400 Pontiac in it.
    BUT
I know you don't have much tire on the back but if you ever go bigger and get it to hook up you're gonna need some kind of torque arm on that open drive rear. The '35 bones are gonna pretzel on ya or break off at the heim joints.

The shift handle is actually an old grip for files. It was cast in the 30s and 40s. Its actually cast steel and I had it brass plated. Its neet cause it fits a hand perfectly and its super light so I wont bump the cars through gears.

    Your car is beautiful man!
I'll be happy if mine turns out half that nice,
that shifter handle looks very much like a pair of handles I had bought at a swap meet, to use for my shifter and maybe E-brake handle, the guy I got them from thought they were plow handles.
