This car belonged to my friend Danny Puccio. It started as a 1928 Model A sedan built by George Ryan of Auberndale ,Mass. with a 1956 322 Buick Nailhead, sold to Paul Emery then got a bigger nailhead, then Dan installed this stroked Hemi.Car was ferocious,Dan said it was the fastest car he ever owned.Guys would take a ride in this car, but did not a second one. I bought the original 322 motor for my Model A roadster.Car was originally featured in Hot Rod magazine, Nov. 1964-Letters to the editor section. For more pics of this car to see the changes, type in search box- George Ryan, Auburndale, Mass. Model A bucket.

  2. if i remember it right [1980], it was dark green. i thought it had full leather straps that went over the hood to hold it down. do you have recent photos of it restored?

Yes, it's the same car before the Hemi. This is the first I've seen with the Hemi.

the famous Fran Bannister roadster, I unearthed it 10 years ago and sold it to Larry Hook who has done a remarkable job restoring it. i believe he has been invited to show it at pebble beach this year IMG_0223.JPG

  28. One more. Now with WWW and slicks A Survivor ROD just never parked in a barn or forgotten about. But a street SURVIVOR and east coast Rod, that has spent most of Its Life as a 60s style HOT ROD. Had a Halibrand v8 quick change with Ford housings and old chrome backing plates I changed the center to a winters, but tried to maintained ITs 60s style . junkyard parts ,. Inside and out. everyone on the EAST did not stick to the same style . But it was always a 60s ROD. Also had a lace paint job when got her . IMG_0514.JPG
