    The owner of the shop is also the owner of the car . Tom Blacks Garage in Oregon . The cars you see are an Aston Martin , TR 4 and a '63 1/2 Ford factory Light Weight drag car . Shop works on German and British cars , paints a few hot rods and early cars . Has done Pebble Beach cars + work on my '32 5w and '40 Coupe , early motorcycles and open wheel vintage race cars too . Very High Quality...........Z.D.

    The car goes to the upholstery shop tomorrow for the top . Progress : Restored Appleton Spotlights , most of the glass is in + the windows go up and down , top frame in place and the dash is complete. Top is a lift off Carson style , padded , in white with a full headliner . Getting ready for the Merc. display at the Sacramento Autorama...........Z.D.

    The top just got finished up this morning, done by Paul Reichlin (Rajo1) at Cedardale Upholstery. Can't wait to see it in Sacramento with all the other amazing Mercurys...

    Tom had the car out today for a run to the Northwest HAMB Voodoo Donut event . Car is low but clears , guess thats why they call them " Tail Draggers ?"..........Z

    Al....Yes , I put a set of "Winter Wheels / Tires" on . The magnesium wheels don't like the wet or winter weather ...Z
