This trailer is just like back in the day, because it IS from back in the day. This well-built tilt deck trailer was built in 1956. Since I got it, I put on new fenders, Brakes (12v), u bolts, lug studs and nuts, Bearings with good grease, seals, lubed the leaf springs. I found 3 original 16" 6-lug chevy wheels and had them blasted and powdercoated. 3 new LT truck tires from Americas Tire, with transferable warranty. I really wanted to put some bias-ply's on there but better safe than sorry. This still has the original single tail light, just as it was back in the day. Perfect size for Model A, T, or really any old car from that era. There are some extensions that bolt on to the front of the rails for longer cars. So, the tire channels are 16" wide and 4' 4.5" center to center. 14' long deck. Tilt deck works perfect. Unlatch it, stand on the back to lower it. drive car up on it and it smoothly goes down and latches. there is also a valve on the cylinder if you want it to move slower or hold. side marker lights are neat little swing-out deals with glass lenses. I have the one that is missing i think. Needs: paint, or not. I never got around to wiring it up, it needs to be done. I have a black and yellow trailer plate for it but it is not currenty registered to this. should be clear. trailer is currently registered (with white plate) and ready to go to your house. im asking $3500. where are you gonna find another one
