Are there any Eelco "collectors" here. NO...I don't want to dig up all that claptrap about the modern "Eelco" . Please refrain. I'm talking about real, old time Eelco stuff made way back in the day. I have a collection of several pieces and want to know if there are others out there with the sickness. I surf and search and surf and search for Eelco. Old Eelco is boss. Shift knobs, dimmer switch covers, footsie wing nuts...that sort of stuff. Lemme know.

There's a MOON one like that on ebay right now under the "Eelco" search. Nearly $400 and the reserve not met.

I've got a couple of EElco items. I've got a real nice tank, some gauges, a couple of breathers in the package and my favorite is a shifter boot plate.

  7. I have couple of tanks and a gas pedal. I think I'll try to get a few guages for my 34 coupe. A good friend has a cool item I'd never seen before. A miniature gas pedal for the dimmer switch. If you have an extra one of these or any guages PM me and maybe we can work out a trade. Anybody?

I have a set of the tank brackets from eelco # 2742 brand new still in original box from 50's They were originally shipped to Jehr Stahl & Assc.
in York pa. I assume this is the Stahl header people. The kit is complete and not been installed on anything.

Oh yes, can't get enough Eelco. My 29 PU has Eelco gauges, shifter boot trim, wire looms, linkage, valve cover breathers, and feet decals on the dash. My brother is a bigger collector than I. He likes to buy up Eelco stuff still in the packaging and has a few catalogs fom back in the day.

I'm going to take some pictures in the coming days of my own Eelco "stuff". I know that Eelco made a lot of stuff. To each his own.....I like the simpe add on stuff they made best of all like the contoured Shift Fast T knobs, perfect hand pistol grip knobs, and other stuff that can be hard to describe. I'm not boasting as to what I have, I'm just trying to find out what other people know about and inform guys what used to be available from Eelco. I wish I had a copy of an old Eelco catalog from back in the early 60's to drool over. The image of that footsie gas pedal and the matching dimmer switch cover ala JC Whitney 20 years ago are just generic repops of a design started two decades earlier by Eelco. Just so the youngsters know.....

  16. The dimmer switch pedal I'm talking about isn't a footsie style, it looks like a miniature Moon pedal, only not Moon but Eelco.

I've got an Eelco catalog from about 65-66. Lots of linkage and some Mustang and Corvair stuff. Not the cleanest book in my collection but it's a gennie.

  21. I think I got an old original EELCO progressive linkage around somewhere unless I sent it to another HAMBer. I wasn't going to collect it I was going to use it which I'm sure he'll do when the time comes.

I'm one! My favorite toy is a little cast panel to hold spare Stromberg jets; have a couple of tanks with pumps, bits and pieces of linkage and fuel fittings, a gauge panel...

Call it two 3X2 linkages and a bellcrank--now you have 3 times as many items, and it's officially a collection!
