  6. Never had one before the change, and didn't pay it that much attention; but the larger generic one in the new format , just called for a more personalized picture.

Supercool pic taken by my Dad at the cemetery where my Grandparents and Uncles are buried. In addition to the fact that I think it is simply a neat pic, I also chose it because I love my country(despite the govts ability to piss me off almost daily).

I just changed mine in the hope of finding this car. Last photo I've seen of the ANSEN Special, a car that raced in the Southern California area in the early 1950's. I'd like find it and restore it, any info is helpful. Bob

Mine is an older restoration A coupe I bought last December. I got it to keep me busy, after retiring and down sizing to give me something to do.
This is what it looks like today. Still lots to do next winter.

  21. Had this when we were doing the S R S(street rod stuff) a few years back & we started the dipstick club. Lugnuts(squirrel) was our mascot.
    Men were called dipsticks
    Women were called lipsticks
Our motto " Get some lipstick on your dipstick"
I'm sure some of you remember that site.

I had to change my image,, everyone thought I was way to serious,, always asking me if something was wrong,, they always say why are you frowning. I learned early in life that work was what is important,, so I quit school in the third grade cause there were to many recesses. I was there to learn not play. So hence my Avatar,,,,,,

My '32 2dr. I threw together in 1992 using the chassis I built for my '32 5w (explaining the yellow frame) so I would have something to drive for the summer. 80,000+ miles later the coupe is still sitting in the back of the shop and the 2dr remains unpainted. Time flies when your having fun!

Just noticed my avatar didn't transfer with the new version of the HAMB. Stay tuned I'll have it corrected in the next couple of years.

I've been playing with hot rods, customs and old cars for over 50 years----For some reason my current (15 years) driver is the truck that seems to be my identity----that shot was at G.G. Indy about to make my lap of the Brickyard. Works for me. BILL RINALDI
