OFFICIAL nomad gasser picture thread

does anyone have a nomad gasser or have any pictures of one that they would like to share?

I'm looking through some old drag strip shots from the early 60's. Don't know where it was from but there was a '57 (I'm pretty sure Nomad) wagon that ran a lot at Tulsa International. It was bright orange and it's name was "Hootenanny".

 

i have done a search, i just thought maybe someone had some pictures that arent yet posted

 

Just start a nomad thread then, the title just seems to vague like you dont know what to ask of em. Official Nomad thread or something like that

It's a 350 with a wicked cam, 350 turbo 3000 stahl and shift kit. I kn ow, it needs a 4 speed!

My 57 Safari when it was owned by the builder(Jerry Bennett)circa 1969. The Buick wheels on the back were used for the street as the Cragars had Casler cheater slicks mounted on them.Second pic was the day I dragged it home and washed it(for the first time in 17 years) in 1997.

 

Snapped this shot at last August's Billetproof Drags in Washington...
