I would like to take this opportunity to give a big thank you to all the participants who have entered Tech Week, both this year and in the past. Every single idea will help someone further their projects and knowledge base. It’s all about sharing ideas. Even though none of us can possibly master each and every aspect of every idea offered, ALL of us will find uses and applications for many of the ideas or at least portions of the ideas (I certainly know I will). I want to thank those who have encouraged me to do a write-up and put myself out there. And also want to encourage others to support anyone who has interest and desire. Share with them and it will keep giving.
Secondly I want to thank all the very generous sponsors, contributors and organizers (and the H.A.M.B.) for their donations, dedication and promotion of Tech Week, because it’s all about sharing.
And lastly I want to thank the readers and voters who took the time to acknowledge that our efforts weren’t for naught.
I will be supporting some of our local food banks and shelters for the holidays (and would encourage other to do as well). I also do some mentoring to promote metalworking skills. I donate materials and time, and invest in education. And if you can too, help those that need it.
Thanks again for everybody’s involvement. Bob

I love tech weeks, there's always so many new things to learn.

I think it would be great if a "stickied" archive could be made. Just last week I saw a post asking a question on how to fill in door gaps and I sent him to a previous tech week thread that I had saved the link to.

Congratulations to the tech thread winners and non winners. Thanks all for sharing. Thank you to those that supported and read thru my tech thread. I tried to make it as riveting as possible. It was fun. Look forward to many more opportunities to share learned and acquired knowledge. Back to Hotrods...

It was fun!! I picked up some good information from people that posted in my thread as well.
Now if I can just talk Ryan into letting me make him some tag toppers :) LOL I can understand why he would not want any one to though, and I dont blame him. He has a good thing going and I just happy to be here. Lots of great knowledge on here.
well let me message the 4th place winner so I can send him a trinket....

  18. I didn't vote since I was contributing to the prize list.............and I have been working and had computer issues! Paul told me to pick which winner/top4 I wanted the prize to go to. After looking at them I pick -Brent- and his thread as the recipient of one of my switch panels! I am always blown away by the tecj threads but tend to lean to the ones that the average Joe, with average tool can accomplish. All of the top 4 rocked however!

Thanks for all you guys that put up the loot! That is awesome!!

  20. I have to say the guy's that RULE ,are the one's that instead of taking the loot sponsored, have selected a charity to give to! Now how F'N CQQL is that?!? I donated/sent to two today on behalf of the winners!
With every charity out there, and I can't give to them all, it was very pleasing to donate for worthy causes.
VERY NOBLE and GARNER MY RESPECT for such actions!
One of the MANY reasons I hang out with you "hoodlums"........

I would like to congratulate ALL the contestants, and thank them for their time and willingness to share their knowledge with us. And thankyou too for your generosity by letting others share in your good fortune. I believe that's how most "car guys" do business, and it makes me proud to be on that roster.
    If you played, you won.
