That car has been for sale for a long time.......An easy 6/7 years. Always has a crowd around it. Missing interior and top items=$ The guy was cool enough to let me crawl around it when I was building mine. It did fire right up,and seemed to run smooth.The price then was $50 large.

 

damn... i shudda bought those cali plates when they were a dollar each...

 

Had a great time, sold half of the parts I brought, did well. Loved the little girl cruising the meet in her battery powered car, parents walking behind. Cold rain this morning, so we packed up early and lit out for home.

 

Saw a couple of Walmart girls in there.

blowby - Thanks for posting - that is why people need to go to swap meets even if they are not really shopping for parts - you will see stuff that you never knew existed. and sometimes that stuff will follow you home

Damn, Joker, what swap meet did I go to on Saturday? I didn't see any of that stuff? The Austin, the '40 Deluxe, the '29 Tudor, I missed 'em all. Actually I did find some 392 stuff that I needed and saw plenty to lust after. I spent my allowance in the first hour so I shortened my visit. Fun day. Thanks for the pics.
