Event Coverage New Salvagerz CC Event in Steamy South Florida!

Coinciding with the Salvagerz Car Club's 10 year anniversary party! Two days of good times, starting on Saturday, August 31st with the 1st Annual Salvagerz Reliability Run. 70 miles of grueling straight roads with no hills (what can I say, our topography sucks)with several ice cold beverage stops along the way. The event starts at 12 noon at the Tiki Bar in Riviera Beach, Florida, and ends at the Mai Kai in Fort Lauderdale. We will be having dinner and watching one of the best Polynesian shows in the nation when we arrive. The bar will remain open after, and provide drinks for Happy Hour prices.

Day two, Sunday, September 1st, the Salvagerz present the 1st Loxahatchee Motorama. If you have ever been to downtown Loxahatchee, then you now how amazing this event is going to be! There will be an indoor and outdoor show, there will be live music well into the night, there will be burlesque by the lovely Morgan LaRue and the Shimmy Shake Revue. There will also be several food trucks for your dining pleasure. Bring your favorite adult beverages along with you. Check out the flyers for more information. Best of all? It's free! What a way to kick off our 10th anniversary weekend!
Join us on our 1st Annual Reliability Run. We are going to start at the Tiki Bar at Riviera Beach Marina and cruise down the coast to the world famous Mai Kai for dinner. As of right now we have about 40 cars and over 100 people going.
If you would like to join us we need a head count by Aug 10th. This will be a great kickoff to out Anniversary weekend. Join us the next day for the car show/party. More updates to come....

I missed sunday's activities but had a great time on saturday's 1st Annual Salvagerz Reliability Run. Saw old friends and met new ones. I've been to a few of the same events as NADS but saturday was the first time I met him and got to benchrace for a few minutes. It was a great time overall and I hope it becomes a traditional event.

 

It was great yakking with you.

Some amazing architecture was seen on A1A and Rt1 going down from Riviera Beach to Ft. Lauderdale, a wonderful drive with about 45 cars, just killer.

Yaril built this 61 Caddy for a customer, she's almost done, first time out, the paint cannot be adequately described nor will any picture do it justice.

We, The Wildtones, got to play the Mai Kai, it was an honor

 

This dog, Gomez, was a pain in the ass the whole time, her climbs up on the parcel shelf and barks at every bike and random cars.

I ran outta gas on the way home on the Florida Turnpike, luckily my pal Josh was driving by right as I was on the phone with AAA and had gas, he saved me.

We went to our friend's house and hung out for a while, Anna's holding one of the chickens.

Miles is fast asleep on the way home.

 

Heading North East into the sunset, a great weekend comes to an end, The Salvagerz did a great job and were wonderful hosts, my hat's off to them.
