History Need help identifying this car!!

  1. Alright I thought it was a rolls at first but I'm not sure it is by the grille shell! The only I.d. I found on the whole car was for the lights which are Lucas king of the road! Any ideas??? Thanks!

  4. Daimler Princess by the look of that radiator shell.
     

  5. Any insignia on the wheel grease caps? And how about the funky rear hatch. Flower car? I agree with the grille shell being Daimler but couldn't find any images that matched the rear of the car

    Not a Princess; definitely a pre-WWII model, probably c. 1936. Daimler 15 looks similar:

    There might be a Wilson preselector gearbox in there.

    I think they called it a shooting brake (Wagon) for some reason.'...was conceived "to take gentlemen on the hunt with their firearms and dogs and although [its] glory days came before World War II...' It would have been English coach built back in the day.

    What a beautiful original car! What is its story? The chrome is in awesome shape!
     
  11. That big single Electroline headlamp is worth a pretty penny. Some one has pryed it open which is,nt a good thing in the long run. Does,nt even belong on that car.
