I think its always cool to find a flathead that you've never seen before. Alot more were made than most think!

  17. I run that Ellco fuel block on my Stude tri-power. 3 lines
    and a fuel pressure gage.

Neat to see another one, someone at a swap meet tried to
sell me another one for $150 once.

I seem to recall Tom Leonardo's time capsule 29 roadster[built in LA around 1940 ] had Nairn lower rad hose ''manifolds''. I thought I read that ''mr. Nairn'' hung out with Isky's crowd including John Athans who had the 29 used in the Elvis movie.Street rodder featured Leonardo's roadster in the mid Ninties and mentioned these manifolds.

NV8, shoot me a PM as a reminder and I'll try to dig up the phone number of the most knowledgeable collector I know--he's an old guy who has been shooting for a collection of every brand of FH speed stuff for MANY years.
You'll have to phone him, as he has no computer, but you'll find him a fountain of knowledge and sometimes parts, when he has two of something...
If he doesn't know, these are officially OBSCURE!

Haven't found it yet. I will definitely see the guy at Carlisle in early October--every year, he accepts my life savings in exchange for neat flathead objects.
Harry Mc??? Auliffe?? (beat head against wall, dig in huge mound of unpaid bills, subpoenas, carburetor parts, and 1953 magazines spewing out of refrigerator...)
I may yet find the number, too--don't despair yet!

I recognize that name from Bruce Dahl's old newsletters. I'll see if I can find one and maybe Harry had a classified ad in there.
