Event Coverage N.E. Dragway Hot Rod Reunion PICTURES

DJTwigsta, thanks for posting a picture of the "Instant T". The car is owned and built by Charlie Greer from Malden, MA. Despite growing up in the same city as Charlie, I never saw the car in person until last year at the reunion. The car was parked for more than forty years, and I hope there will be a restoration in the future. Chassis Research fans may notice, that this car started life as LW-106 dragster chassis. Greer bought the old outdated chassis in the late sixties... cut three feet off the front and relocated the rear axle behind the drivers seat. The car was quite competitive in comp eliminator running around 160 mph.
