Despite living not that far away, I missed the first two editions of this incredible event. It was a lot of fun and was super well managed. Needless to say the quality, variety and coolness of the hot rods in attendance was unbelievable and there were lots of friends to see and visit with as well as some great new friends made. Anyway - here are my pics - I will try to do these much faster than normal for me. There are a lot of other great threads on it anyway and there were a lot of pro photographers there covering it. Thanks Mike and Amy and the rest of the Nicks' Garage team.

I'll check Larry, but if I didn't, I'm sure someone else did.

  10. It would be an 8 window ride. Dual air conditioner, lowered, barn door Suburban .... good for high fives and cruise control though.

Thanks kidcamell71, aboner, 3WLarry, Dennis(383deuce) and Joe (oldsjoe)
I would love to know exactly what this was - obviously a Model T based car. (Mike's 40 in the background) at 6:30 a.m. on race day.

The blue '40 std. cpe, number 75, is mine.
The "BEST" car event I've been to in years.

Cool car 42merc - I am thrilled that we actually have an event of this high level of uniqueness and coolness in Colorado. It was an amazing event. Thanks a lot Hemi 32. I am trying to have a massive drive to get these done and start getting caught up with all my other way behind threads (KKOA, Custom Car Revival and Stray Kat 500).

Kinda think its a hand formed body. very 28/29 but not quite. And the smoothed off no doors thing leads me along those lines as well. Dunno... Looked mean as can be... didnt run so hot

Thanks a lot 2bubbas and kiwjeff. Thanks Gearhead Graphics for the info on that mystery car. I bet it was tough on a lot of the cars due to not being perfectly adjusted for the altitude and so forth.

Here is one of my favorites - I would just paint it - probably a light gray similar to the primer color and call it done.

Thanks for posing your pics. The blue roadster was running a roof f head set up. I found this out over on the August banger meet. One of the most interesting mills I saw.
