You and I think the same. Noticed more than a few things done the way I do em. Just love the car. Love the use of OEM parts. Ed
Thanks everyone for the positive comments. I wish I hadn't lost the pics of the frame in the jig and a couple of others. Supposed to be 56 degrees here today.....maybe a roadster day!
Thanks for sharing you build with us, a project to be proud of. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/31-model-a-hot-rod-restoration.847790/
Great looking Roadster! Love them 32's . Hope it gets out of the teens today here. Roadster I'm afraid is out of service for this year. Love to see more photos. What are you using for steering, and trans ? Is that an original body?
Thanks guys. ctl1932ford- for steering I used a 46 Merc box turned sideways with the shaft coming through the frame and steering arm up. I did that to clear the Curtis hairpins. Trans is an s-10 T5 five speed. The body actually is a Brookville, grille is original.
You knocked it out of the park! You wanted the '58-'62 look, you got it exactly right (except that in SoCal we had to run fenders, hope they didn't require them in Washington)...what a great build, looking forward to coupe progress.
Like many guys have said, there's nothing like a sexy rear end!! Thanks. Thanks. Luckily, Washington doesn't require them except in bad weather.
I saw this 50's hot rod movie where this new kid in town has an AV8 roadster with vertical tail lights and I like that look. Thanks!
