Last week i took my 32 frame out of storage and start building it, so i guess its time to start a build thread about it.
Its going to be "period" correct mid/late fifties style.

Holy crap, that gave me goose bumps. Your body in primer is a clone to mine. Please keep us posted.

Thanks! Yes its a really solid body, have been stored inside for 40+ yr, in Sweden!!
Wery little garage time today, so i rewerse two 41 merc wheels and remove original reinforcment from the frame. Henry did have some powerful tachwelder back then!!
My plan is to conjunct original rear reinforcments whith my 33-34 x member and then rivet all back togather. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1404064199.978159.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1404064334.894707.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1404063851.628492.jpg

Great plans! What will you be running for a rear axle?

    Thanks!

My plans for rear axle was 35-36 bones/bells but i think i have to change my mind about that. Because i going to build the chassi so low and the bones hit the frame!

Closed tube is a must, my 37 lasalle is converted to closed drive...and chromed :) ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1404323593.130891.jpg

Little update, The c-notch is done. Also dropped a "heavy" axle 3" i going to use. A couple of hours of grinding and smooting its ready for chrome! ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1406565503.448972.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1406565763.665904.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1406565800.098949.jpg

  27. Great looking build. Lots of Goodies. Seeing those '41 wheels reversed makes me want to do mine I just picked up.

  29. Whoah....here we go again....another bad ass build. Geez, I wish I had all the know how some of you guys have. Yeah, I know...buy the book!! Why the choice of 33 34 X member? Is it specific to the driveline location or the inside diameter dimensions being larger? Easier to mod a later engine choice in this fashion ? Yeah....again, I know...buy the book!!!! I am a HAMB addict, and generally ride the wave 5 to 7 days a week, but have not seen this choice used yet. Love what you're doing. So, move along.

  30. X member now understood sir. Search function works very well on here. Thanks !! Back to moving along please......
