I try to make a new piece of Christmas yard art every year for my wife. This year I had an opportunity to make something really unique. An older man I knew since I was a kid passed away and left a bunch of old Model T parts in a storage building. His widow asked me to help clean out the shed. I could not believe how much junk he had collected. These parts looked like they were left over from a build.

I couldn’t throw the stuff in the trash so I gave most of it away but I kept a few pieces because I had an idea! Below you will see my Model T sleigh. I used front & rear fenders plus the seat and seat frame. The parts (I have been told) are from a 1926 Model T.

Ummm... was there a decent 26-27 closed car windshield frame in that shed by chance? If so, please PM me.

Way cool. The trailing arms look like late 60's chevy.

  9. Great idea, that came out amazing. I think if I put that on my front lawn it would get stolen for the scrap value.

I like the gingerbread family but your sleigh is the most immaginative and well executed piece of art I have seen here on the HAMB. Great Job!:)

I would have that in my yard every christmas season and just keep adding to it every yr

  27. That's cool looking! For the other 11 month's of the year it needs a Curved Dash style chasis under it so you can putt around car shows in it.
