I try to make a new piece of Christmas yard art every year for my wife. This year I had an opportunity to make something really unique. An older man I knew since I was a kid passed away and left a bunch of old Model T parts in a storage building. His widow asked me to help clean out the shed. I could not believe how much junk he had collected. These parts looked like they were left over from a build.

I couldn’t throw the stuff in the trash so I gave most of it away but I kept a few pieces because I had an idea! Below you will see my Model T sleigh. I used front & rear fenders plus the seat and seat frame. The parts (I have been told) are from a 1926 Model T.

Ummm... was there a decent 26-27 closed car windshield frame in that shed by chance? If so, please PM me.

Way cool. The trailing arms look like late 60's chevy.

Great idea, that came out amazing. I think if I put that on my front lawn it would get stolen for the scrap value.

I like the gingerbread family but your sleigh is the most immaginative and well executed piece of art I have seen here on the HAMB. Great Job!:)

That's cool looking! For the other 11 month's of the year it needs a Curved Dash style chasis under it so you can putt around car shows in it.
