tjm73....sadly, and this had already been mentioned in its own thread on the HAMB, I have to tell you that "MOBY" aka Ralph Cramer, and his wife Lynn, were both killed in his T Roadster on April 12 when Ralph somehow lost control and crashed.
I only had the chance to message back and forth with Ralph a couple of times shortly before that day, but I can tell you without a doubt we all lost a good one when we lost him.
    God speed Moby.... :(

    God's speed Moby!!
Thanks Old Soul, so did I. With that windshield, I drove it to work at the freight docks at 17 degrees a time or two. Did not love it, but it WAS going to be nice when I got off. Enough said?

    R.I.P Ralph & Lynn.

I know this well. Although I've never owned an open car, I have never owned an old car with working heat haha. Some of the early spring and late fall commutes get chilly.

His last post was April 12. Very sad. I met Moby at one of Jerry's "Open Houses" at his shop in Robesonia, PA. He was parked next to me in my avatar picture.

    Really nice guy.

I didn't know that was the couple that was killed. That's a shame.

Yeah, but who wouldn't want just 5 minutes behind that vertical steering wheel. A tube frame bucket with a blown Boss 429!

Since I strongly dislike Fad T's and vertical steering columns I wouldn't.

If it's not practical to jump into and drive to the corner store or comfortable enough for a 75 mile trip to grandmas house it's not worth starting.:( I guess that's why I dislike the rat rods too.. ;). In the 60's and 70's most of us could only afford 1 car and it had to do everything.

Here's one that's popped up on eBay, I have no relation to the seller I just really dig the car.

"This 26' T was built in 68' or 69' by a GM dealership in San Diego. It originally ran a 69' Z28 302 Hilborn injected small block with matching #s, 4-speed. Engine is a 1968 Chevy 327 with a lumpy Schneider cam, not too crazy, just sounds good. It has about 30,000 miles on it."

So even though it's technically past the "cutoff" I like to see in here, I feel that if the car was sitting right in front of me I'd be hard pressed to know exactly which year it was built. I love the outlandish stance, diamond tuck and carpet. No doubt it probably had some gaudy wheels and tires when first built, but those whites suit it well and it would probably look pretty good with mags and poliglass tires too.

If this car were located near me and held the same asking price, I'd be really tempted to talk the bank into buying it for me.

Old Soul, there is no "cutoff" in here.

The thread is about T s of various types, and a 26 is a T.

The HAMB has a cutoff, and when I started the thread I "self imposed" one so as to not let this thread suffer the same fate as threads before.

The car I posted is also not a '26, the seller must be misinformed (or it's titled as such)

 Got the cut-off thing. I must have missed that.
Too bad that other picture threads get closed, they are good to see.
    I wasn't paying attention, but that definitely isn't a 26.

The body has been fill primed twice and blocked out, we did some blasting on the inside panels and re-fitted the custom cowl band, it was "gonna get painted last week" two weeks ago, but just not quite there yet. I've got a million other projects so I haevn't been pushing it either.

I did get a really cool early Sharp 2x2 intake setup with the offset so I can retain my generator mounted fan with some neat old air cleaners and fuel block, haven't put it on yet though, also got a matching pair of '26 Wisconsin plates to run on it. Should have pics with the body back on it soon.

Man...just a shock. I had messaged him about frame rail width, just some technical stuff...
Now I'm sadly grasping why I didn't receive an answer.
    Godspeed, you two...
