Driving it as much as possible and didn't take any pictures out on the road! Big road trip tomorrow so i'll see if I can fix that problem. Making it more old school during the off season. The wheels are getting replaced and I have some ideas for the front. Over last winter I changed over to rear drums, added a handbrake, dropped the back of the body 3" (back to stock) along with the fuel tank, added a lot of steel interior bracing, a wide radius roll bar, Model A rear crossmember and tail lights, then painted her satin black. Works for me!!! :D 2014-08-06 20.02.14AAA.jpg 2014-08-06 20.24.49aaa.jpg

The Box allows access to the Master cylinder.

Hey 26 T Ford RPU, true , it's not a true T. It started as a 1928 Model A sedan.George Ryan cut it down, hammered and welded it , he wound up with an 80 lb. bucket. Car and article was featured in "Letters to the Editor" section, Hot Rod magazine, November, 1964. Good eye ,by the way!

  15. Cool car, no doubt, but I think his point was that this thread is for "Model T buckets/RPU's/Roadster/Tourings..." not "Model A buckets..." :)

Well, true and I realize that, but, have to give the guy points for originality, plus, the added leg room; I know because I rode in the car. I must say, I do like the T lanterns mounted up on the windshield frame as opposed to the cowl, a cleaner look, but just my opinion.

  17. I get that, but its not a Model T. There is a T radiator shell and T cowl lamps, but its still a Model A.. Period !! JW:)

If we do that we would have to change the threads title. :D It does specifically say Model T.

Yes Dean, I remember the car well. When i saw it in the magazine ,I had a double take, and there was none finer, but, that's ok, if the T guys are that sensitive to it, I understand, just thought they'd get a kick out of it. Oh, after I bought the Buicks that were in it, the A/T I posted wound up with a stroked ( 483") 426 Hemi with a cross ram carb setup, and 4 speed.Guys took a ride in it wouldn't take a second ride. Anyway, I'll bow out here, sorry if I offended any of you T guys.

We're not offended, we're just trying to stay on topic. Plenty of Model A threads that most of us belong to too. We frown on posting T's there, as you can imagine.

Good point! I do like the T's though, and I understand.Thanks.

  25. Off topic picture removed.

  26. Dean, that was an awesome-looking A...maybe we need a separate "A-bucket" picture thread for those gems!

Time for a bump...nothing like a '27 roadster in my eyes.

You know nitro that is my favorite '26 '27 T roadster. Love the photo of it and it's owner in his Navy uniform with his girlfriend. Iconic Hot Rod Photo. Perfect. Anybody building that year need to use this for their inspiration.
