I'm selling my Model A Ford roadster project, a great start for next years Race of Gentlemen. It is on an original model a frame that has been fully boxed. The rear crossmember is original and it's been gusseted. The front crossmember is aftermarket model a. The body is mostly Brookeville, the firewall, cowl, some of the floor channel and the gas tank are original Ford. The Hallock windshield frame is included, as well as the glass templates and rubber seal. It's an earlier Sellers frame with the glass channel already cut in it. The car has a deuce grill, stainless insert, and a half hood that is made to fit the Model A with a 32 shell. The front suspension is an original Ford axle that was sent out and dropped, the spindles are original Ford round back cross steer, and the spring is a Posie super slide. It has new kingpins, and spring perches. The front backing plates are vintage chrome with custom scoops, It has a late 30's banjo rear with a transverse spring, also with juice brakes. All of the brakes will need rebuilt, but the adjusters are free and in good condition The engine is a late 30's flathead with Edmunds heads and a Navarro 3 deuce with 3 Strombergs. This engine runs, I filled all three carbs and it fires right up! I have a video of it running and it sounds nice. The transmission and clutch were also rebuilt years ago and have little wear. I don't have a title, again this is a project, the body is just mocked together, and the brackets on the frame are just tacked in. The floor channel is mounted to the frame with a wood kit. The seat riser and door latches are also included. I'm in the Detroit metro area. I am not interested in any trades, cash only. Please email me at [email protected]
