There is no better looking set up than an A on deuce rails. I know the 32 owners out there will take exception to that statement but I think the 32 body looks too big in the back. Too much junk in the trunk. Does that body make your car look fat? Yes, yes it does.

I agree with you, the fact that most guys sit a lot lower in a '32 makes that trunk rear quarter are look a lot larger than an A. Bob :)

  17. I have channeled my coupe 2".... And I'm gonna curve the lower body line so the body will sit on the frame more like a 32' 3w....

I took a different approach on mine. I used traditional parts and styling, but also took some of my styling cues from the styling of the Auburn Speedster, a production hot rod from the thirties. I started by using an Auburn Speedster windshield as a model, then made my own to fit the '29 cowl. I leaned the grille back, as Auburn did, and used chrome welting in the cowl to emphasize the sloping detail. I added small hood sides with sloping curves to emulate the racy curves in the Auburn. I'm currently working on full hood sides to further streamline the car. The top also tries to follow the lines of the Auburn top.
