    That there is some top notch banger material. Even the red inside the scoops. Nice.

    I got some Photoshop help from the guys over in that thread. I think I'll be powder coating my 17" bent spokes orange for this car.

    image.jpeg Easier said than done, but can the body be moved back to allow more leg room, similar to this? Body is back about 6 inches, seat is about 8 inches above the floor.

  13. Probably not. Its already tight and a channel would make it way too tight. I'll leave it the way it is and just drive it. I have other cars to build and this one is too fun to drive to take apart

    What's with the threaded con rod there? Was that the failure?

  23. Hard to say from just one pic, but, my guess;
    Crank broke first, distorted, then pulled cap off rod.
    In any case, it is not pretty. Just expensive.
    As for the yellow PU, It looks even better in person.
    Dan's Father did it right, His Kid is not too bad either.......

  25. I had my car at the Sacramento Autorama a couple weekends ago, to represent the F.A.S.T. group!
    We don't compete with the Autorama, for (Trophies).
    But when I was at my room near near 7:30 pm (Saturday night), I got a call from Mike. He said to get my A$$ back to the show cause the (Capital City Cruisers) wanted to present me a Butch Gardner Clubhouse Award!
    I made it there in time! For the first time in my life, I hit every single light (GREEN) I thought, I missed it but after just two other awards given out, they then brought up the F.A.S.T. group and wanted to give one of us an award, so I unexpectedly got an award! Steve took a picture of me holding the award standing by my car. I believe it will be in the next F.A.S.T. group email letter.
