Event Coverage Live from Pomona...LA Roadster Weekend

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Tom davison, Jun 19, 2015.

  1. Built by my old racing buddy, Tom Conley. Tom liked his Model A's low!

  2. Tom, your choice of cars, content and color always knock me out! You always get all my favorites so I quit bothering to take any pictures out there this weekend.
My wife's Model B stocker found a new home on Saturday and will soon be heading to Missouri. Thanks for all the great pics!

Wow a Tom went to the LA Roadsters show photo essay just before I head to bed. Now that will generate some hot rod dreams. Thanks for taking the time to take the photos and share with us.

  12. Thanks for the pictures Tom outstanding as always.

  13. Nice work as always, I enjoy how you capture the right angle for the vehicle, and seem to enhance the stance.

Tony, I agree with your comment about that '33 Roadster...perfection indeed!

I'm glad you like that shot of the '55; I could have gotten a little more creative, but was too busy yakking. Good to see you.

  29. Correct! ... Built by Alan Johnson & the crew at Johnson's Hot Rod Shop ... for Rodney Harris of Leighton, Alabama.

The car was featured in issue #54 of The Rodder's Journal:

The article listed the Paint as:

PPG custom-mixed British Racing Green basecoat/clearcoat.
Paintwork by Greg Chalcraft, Johnson's Hot Rod Shop
