the yellow 36 is probably the best looking car Posie ever built. I saw it unchanged about 5 yrs ago at the turkey rod run in Daytona. I think it was for sale for something like 60K if I remember correctly

Mick - here is a 36 coupe to go with both of them - from the Hot Rod (and in this case Ksutom) Hill Climb in Georgetown, CO this last Saturday. I would love to see orbetter yet own that ragtop.

  4. Wasn't it in one of Pat Ganahl's Lost Hot Rod books or something also showing it unchanged? I half thought I had seen something about it recently in print that is is still just as it was....which I think is cool.

My first Custom, just nosed and decked at this point. Later it got a 60 Olds grille insert between the stock parking lights and 61 comet tail lights laid in place of the 3 round lights. 57 Plymouth hubcaps topped it off. I was 17 when I bought this car in 1963. I will look for pictures of the final version. 58impala.jpg 58impala1.jpg

One of the Starbird kustoms that I would like to own. I flipped out when I saw this years ago at the Starbird show.

  13. Well, now this makes me kinda sad that I am giving up my Fleetlines for the new Grapevine-ish sedan. There is just something about that Fleetline shape...yummy!

Early Studebaker "Bourke" C-body coupe converted El Camino style. Note the antennae pods in the roof and the early 60s Caddy taillights.

  25. A few from when I rolled into the Sleds Midwest show in Branson yesterday. Saw Jack Walker's Hirohata clone in the parking lot last night, so got some good cars to study today. :)

Get that A/C in yet, Dr. Dave...??? Or is it not hot around there...???

    R-

  27. Lol...not yet Roger. It's been plenty hot, but the last week has cooled off a bit (funny to call 90 cool LOL). Been collecting parts....got the brackets and working out what I'm going to do for vents that look half decent. I think I've come up with something cool, but am still working out the details of them
