    Hello Hamb,

It has been a while since i've posted anything, but the long wait was worth it. I changed jobs a few years back.. and sold my hot rod to bankroll my liberation from corporate oppression. My daily surfing on hamb is a thing of the past.. but i still keep my eyes and ears open for a good car adventure.. and who knows what is at the other end of the rainbow. I heard of some remains of an old car from a few friends a few months back and finally had the time to check them out. My expectations were low.. but it doesn't take much to make me happy.. I love to see rusting relics of all sorts.. even if it is beyond identification or has been rendered useless by the hands of time.Imagine my surprise to find this pile at the end of the rainbow. The proverbial holy grail of remains. I am not sure how things will work out.. but I thought for starters i'd share some pictures ..

Yikes. I know some have started with less, but how much of that do you think is really useable?

  5. It's really rough but it is a 1932 Ford 5 window. HRP

Looks like usable driver's door, pretty good windsheild frame and a good dash panel. If you've been to any recent swap meets and seen what folks are asking for 32 parts those three parts represent several hundred dollars.

That is worth saving even if it was a 4Banger, grille shell needs a wall to hang it on. How good is the chassis? Bob

  9. I've seen much worse put back together. Keep us updated..

  10. Even if there is nothing good but the dash, at least you have found the ultimate yard art!

That one has been sitting there for more than a little while. It would be the ultimate yard art piece but I wonder how much of it could be used after it was stripped of the rust. A patch panel at a time and it could be put together.

Great find! Drag that thing home and get it started. Have you collected other parts?

  17. But the lingering question that no one has addressed is:
    Will it "buff out"?

Also looks like it had been sitting upside down for quite a while. The frame might be salvageable.

Question; If you had that in the Flea Market at the LA Roadster show right next to the 5Window bodies made in China, who would have the biggest crowd around it? Bob
