We just shipped the best built car we have done so far. We have been working on it for over two years. The roof, door openings, quarter glass, hood sides, grill, floors most of the hood and deck lid were all hand built from flat sheet metal. We redid the chassis and built a custom coulmn out of a stock 52 chevy coulmn. We opend up the trunk lid to match the rear body line better. A new roof was hand formed to add to the shape of the car. The hood sides built from scratch and louvered on our Pulmax machine. The tail lights are built from 36 dodge horn covers and use the stock grill to cover the lens. The hood was made in to a one piece hood. The grill was also built from scratch. Sorry if I'm coming off like a dick. But I'm very proud of this car and of my guys at the shop who built it.

Awesome... It certainly has it's own shape to set it apart from other '36s out there.
    Great work, guys!!

You have every right t be proud. I saw this car in Santa Maria and it knocked my socks off. Dave Hitch gave me the tour of the car and man it is amazing.

So I'll be the dickhead/ I don't like full fendered mid to late 30's sitting on the RBs. IN fact I don't like any thing sitting that low at anytime.

    Just me...public post, public opinion.

    Great metalwork BTW.

Fantastic shaped body... perfect body work.
Looking forward to see it in paint one day. I hope it will be shown with a real stance...

  27. Jaco Pastorius (arguably the greatest bass guitar player ever) said "It aint bragging if you can back it up". That's a fine looking coupe.

Pretty insane! But is it the same 36 that he used to drive in "Mad max" guise a few years back or he started w/ anotherone? I think you just outdid Cole Foster's 36.:D
Damn now they have two of the worlds finest 36 Ford all in one band!

BTW, im not gettin this too low thing. Im pretty sure that if they had this technology available 60 years ago they would have used it no problem instead of scraping everywhere at 20 mph.
